One thing to note about airlines is that they charge $100 dollars each way for an extra suitcase. Bomb-diggity. My wallet's complaining aside, my flight is booked! I haven't really been out of the country much, but when I went to Italy with my grandparents a few years ago, the plane ride was one of the highlights of my entire trip. I guess I just have a thing for public transport given my love for the D.C. metro system.

That excitement aside, the packing must commence.
